FKA Twigs, Robert Pattinson's fiancé, was emotionally abused by one of her ex-boyfriends, reports claim.
She admitted that it was hard for her to communicate when she was in the relationship. In addition, FKA Twigs said that her boyfriend stops her for explaining how she feels.
The manifestation was evident on the music video of Papi Pacify, where a man stick his finger in her mouth. She also admitted that there was a point in her life when she felt messed up and addicted with the emotional abuse.
Moreover, she stated that it can be tender being on an emotionally abusive relationship. She believes that a woman stays in this kind of relationship because there's a part of them that likes it.
Elle UK said that people might judge her for glamorizing abuse and young women might misinterpret abuse as being desirable and sexy. They explained that a cat and mouse play is normal.
The outlet also added that there many scratches on self-esteem for one to realize that they are not experiencing love but rather self-loathing. They said that abuse is insidious and complicated because abusers tend to be charming and friendly.
Moreover, it has been explained that abusers can make one feel special. But later on, it will crush your feelings into dust. It is also important to remember that it is not the victim's fault.
On a brighter note, it seems like FKA Twigs has moved on from her abusive relationship. She found a wonderful man in the presence of her fiancé, Robert Pattinson.
She is very supportive and trustworthy of her man. She is supporting Pattinson on the possible "Twilight" reunion with his co-star and ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart, Inquisitor reported.
Furthermore, reports said that FKA Twigs has no problem with Pattinson working with Stewart, in case they make another "Twilight" movie. She admitted that she doesn't feel threatened with Kristen, revealing that she is madly in love with her boyfriend.
She also said that she will respect and support Rob's decision if he wants to make a new "Twilight" movie. It's nice to know that FKA Twigs has found a man he can trust despite the abuse she went through.
