"Better Call Saul" writer: Smith Gordon on 67th Primetime Emmy Annual Award Nomination

"Better Call Saul" was nominated for the 67th Primetime Emmy Annual Award! As announced by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Better Call Saul has been honored with seven nominations including Gordon Smith for outstanding writing.

Emmy Award is one of the prestigious awards for Hollywood TV personalities could ever have. On its 67th Annual Award, It was announced by the Television Arts and Sciences that "Better Call Saul", an American television series had been nominated. Smith Gordon was nominated for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series.

Titled "Five-O", the episode 6th of the first season of Better Call Saul was nominated for Best Drama Editing in whom Smith Gordon was the writer. It was Gordon's first ever television script which was the spinoff series of the "Breaking Bad", whom he was the writer's assistant.  According to Smith, his good fortune struck him as a little bit scary during his guest at Vancouver International Film Festival. "Does this mean that I'm going to get hit by a bus?", he asked.

On the other hand, the American Television series, Better Call Saul has been honored with seven nominations on the 67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards which includes Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series for Bob Odenkirk, who played the role as Jimmy McGill, Outstanding Supporting Actor in A Drama Series for Jonathan Banks, who played the role as Mike Ehrmantraut, Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for A Drama Series, Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy or Drama Series and Outstanding Writing For a Drama Series, which was written by Gordon Smith.

The 67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony was held at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California on September 20, Sunday. It was hosted by an American comedian Andy Samberg who had hosted the show for the first time.
