UFC 205 Updates: Why Conor McGregor Touching Eddie Alvarez' Belt Not A Good Idea?

There's a lot of hype surrounding the world of MMA as Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez goes head-to-head at UFC 205 on Nov. 12, 2016. But even with a few days left, the two fighters already clashed at their press conference as McGregor grabbed Alvarez' belt. Obviously, it wasn't a good idea and chaos started to take over.

The two fighters have been going at each other since the announcement of their fight in September. McGregor will be challenging Alvarez in the UFC 205for the UFC lightweight title. As expected, there was mayhem when the two fighters came face to face during their press conference for their big match at the Madison Square Garden.

McGregor was late for the presser and Alvarez went off the stage being sick of McGregor's fans jeering and taunting him. When the Irishman finally decided to show up in his classy white fur coat, it was then when things got out of hand.

In a report by The Washington Post, McGregor gave the fans a teaser of what was going to happen in their fight by grabbing Alvarez' lightweight belt. The gesture meant that he was going to defeat Alvarez and take away his championship title.

The incident alarmed Alvarez which prompted him to grab his belt back. Now, the scuffle started as he took his coat off and started throwing his chair at McGregor. McGregor wanted to get back at him and also grabbed his chair, but eventually, UFC President Dana White was there to cool things down.

According to SB Nation, McGregor would be the first fighter in the history of UFC to hold two championship titles in two different weight classes at the same time. So it's no surprise why Alvarez got heated up when his belt was touched by McGregor.

There're only a few days left for the UFC 205 and with this kind of hype between the two fighters, it's going to be an interesting match. Who will prevail between the two fighters?
