'Patient Zero' Spoilers, Air Date, Latest News & Update:The Making of 'Patient Zero' Myth

An upcoming American-British fantasy horror thriller film directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky, "Patient Zero" will be heading to theaters next year. The said film will be released on February 17, 2017, in theaters nationwide. Starring Matt Smith, Natalie Dormer, Stanley Tucci, Pippa Bennett-Warner and Clive Standen.

According to IMDb, this was the first time that Natalie Dormer and John Bradley-West would work on screen together. Though, the stars were seen in "Game of Thrones", but they've never been in any scenes together. At last, the 34-year old actress and John Bradley-West would finally share on screen together in "Patient Zero."

A mutated form of rabies which causes a human to turn into a highly intelligent new species called "The Infected" would be the new disease occurring in the certain community. The said community would be having its epidemic outbreak as numerous human got infected with the said virus. Morgan, a human survivor kept on investigating the said species and pursuing "Patient Zero" to find an antidote to save humanity.

Dr. Gina Rose played by Natalie Dormer, would be the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention virologist on "Patient Zero". Dr. Gina Rose would be leading the scientific research efforts for the said epidemic outbreak while Colonel Knoxx played by "Vikings" star, Clive Standen would be in charge of the military front.

On the other hand, it was reported that the making of "Patient Zero" was based on a combination of historical and genetic research. According to Science Daily, it revealed the error and hype that led to an invention of the term 'Patient Zero' caused by the man who spread HIV across North America.

Moreover, "Patient Zero" started shooting at Shepperton Studios in England. Eventually, it was filmed in London through April 18, 2015, and in Welwyn Garden City on April 15, 2015.
