‘Beauty and the Beast’ Beats '50 Shades of Grey' and 'Star Wars the Force Awakens' for Most-Viewed Trailer within 24 Hours

"Beauty and the Beast" is another film offered to us by Disney, and the 1991 classic fairy tale will soon invade the big screen again. There is not much difference between the two; the movie is quite similar from the original plot of the animated version. Emma Watson playing the role of Belle really suits the yellow dress. Of course, David Stevens who plays role of Beast resembles the animated version of the character a lot.

The teaser trailer was revealed to us last May 2016, and was viewed 91.8 million times. Last Monday, the official 2017 trailer of "Beauty and the Beast" was released, and according to Entertainment Weekly garnered 127.6 million views worldwide (does not include China) in just a span of 24 hours. On Emma Watson's Facebook page, the trailer gathers 27 million views.

The official trailer for the classic fairy tale has gone viral after it was released. It got the spotlight especially as it beat the "50 Shades of Grey" trailer (114 million views within 24 hours), and the "Star Wars The Force Awakens" trailer (112 million views).

Once again, Disney claims the top spot for most-viewed trailer within the 24 hours after its release. Who would have thought that a very classic movie like this will be at the top spot? It was even said that it got more views than the people living in Mexico; a little bit fewer than the number of votes counted so far in the 2016 election. This number is according to a previous report by Vanity Fair.

It is no wonder many people are excited to watch Emma Watson as she stars in "Beauty and the Beast." Perhaps everyone is still excited for what will be the biggest plot twist of the 2017 movie, if there is any. In any case, it will surely bring back the childhood memories of the 1991 classic animated movie. A fairytale in which the beast falls in love with an ordinary girl in an event that will change his life forever. Let us all wait for March 17, 2017 for the movie premiere.
