'Deadpool' Star Ryan Reynolds Shares 5 Things Daddies Need to Know While in the Delivery Room

"Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively met on 2010 while filming "Green Lantern". They have different relationships that time, Reynolds was still married to Scarlett Johansson and Lively was in a relationship with "Gossip Girl" co-star Penn Badgley. But then, fate seems to be playful because everything went well for the two even after the release of said movie. They remained private while going out and even invited only 35 guests on their wedding last 2012.

The two are living happily together now. The couple's first born was a girl, James. Last September, Blake Lively delivered again another baby girl, but the name wasn't revealed to the public yet. Ryan Reynolds, being a natural funny man points out some tips for Dads like him while in the Delivery Room.

Huffington Post shared with us the 5 tips Reynolds gave:

Be in the Room

Of course, you really need to be in the room while your wife's having a labor.

Capturing the Moment

This is also important per the "Deadpool" star, but be judicious to take a good snap of it. You don't want your child to be embarrassed when he or she grows up.

Know What to Say

If you are a funny man, like him, joking around is not the right thing to do while you are at the Delivery Room. Even though joke is funny, your wife will not appreciate it. Say something that can calm her nerves like: "everything will be okay" or "we'll get through this."

Know Your Place

You need to know what's your place while you are at the delivery room. Even though you are the least important person there, you still need to be there because you are the husband and the father. Doctors and Nurses will take good care of it, all you need to do it to support your wife.

Stay Positive

Even if you need a lot of air (not as much like your wife needed) remain calm. Because at the end of it, it will be worth it.

These are Ryan Reynolds' tips for dads like him. He still has this serious side when it comes to his wife and daughters. The "Deadpool" star must have been very in love with his wife; in one of the articles from Mail Online, he reveals why he knew that Blake Lively was the one.
