'Pokémon Sun And Moon' Update 'Pokémon Stars' May Be Coming 2017 for the Nintendo Switch

Pokemon have been a huge part of our childhood especially the millennials. Throughout the franchise's history, we took different adventures, different worlds and different pokemons. With the release of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" we saw a new and different world of pokemon. Now there are rumors that the game will have an update that will be named "Pokemon Stars" for the incoming Nintendo Switch in 2017.

Nothing is set on stone regarding this rumor as there are no further informations regarding the title. With the early success of Sony with PlayStation 4 Pro, Nintendo would probably go with the same strategy and that is to include big time franchise to boost the sale of the Nintendo Switch.

According to Techtimes, "Pokemon Stars" will be a branch version of the latest game "Pokemon Sun and Moon". We can expect that the same setting will be applied to the game considering the lack of time to produce a different set up.

This will not be the first time that the franchise will issue an updated version after a major release like what happened to Pokemon Red and Blue turning into the updated version Pokemon Yellow. However, this will be the first time where they will be updating a game into a different console prior to the initial release. This will pose a problem to developers as the proposed release date for Nintendo Switch is March 2017.

With the current media block out that is surrounding Nintendo Switch, we will likely to have a huge amount of rumors that would turn out to be false. This will prove to be a bad move as the people will be torn between believing or not and without the right information to keep the excited, this can become a disaster in no time.

If the rumors are proved to be true, we can expect Nintendo making huge income by selling tons of Nintndo Switch consoles as gamers would surely fall head over heels to "Pokemons Stars," which could be one of the best looking Pokemon games to date.
