Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Conor McGregor: Is The Fight Happening Soon? Who Has The Advantage?

After his impressive feat at the UFC 205, Conor McGregor has been rumored to take on another big fight. This time, the MMA champ will allegedly face the WBO welterweight champion, Floyd Mayweather Jr. Is the fight really happening soon?

Recently, rumors are rife that Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor might come face to face inside the ring for an epic match. Sports enthusiasts backed up the idea claiming that the two champions have many similarities and could definitely put up a good fight.

Despite being in a different sport, Mayweather and McGregor are being compared due to their traits. Both fighters are known for intimidating and trash-talking their opponents. It was also noted that both stars tend to flaunt their expensive lifestyle.

However, many pointed out the two fighters have completely different fighting styles. According to the Inquistr, the said difference might lead one to victory and the other to defeat. Fans and even celebrities theorize as to who has the upper-hand in the supposed fight of the century.

Some speculate that Mayweather has the advantage considering that McGregor is not a real boxer. There were also some who believe that the boxer's expertise in defense and speed will give him a major boost in case the fight comes into fruition.

On the other hand, there were some who think otherwise. As reported by TMZ, UFC president Dana White expressed her opinion on the highly requested fight. Understandably, White picked his superstar and even compared their fighting styles, saying, "Conor McGregor ... if he touches you, you go to sleep. Floyd puts people to sleep too, with his fighting style, not with his hands."

White then went on to say, "You know how Floyd knocks people out? When they're not looking. Watch the Victor Ortiz fight."

It can be recalled that Mayweather recently trash-talked McGregor claiming that he didn't know about the UFC champ's big fight. He then insulted the young fighter and said that the comparison between him and McGregor is "total disrespect."

McGregor has been making the headlines over the past few days. In a recent report by Jobs & Hire, the UFC champ has been rumored to be welcomed by Triple H in the WWE in case he decided to join.
