The American comedy-drama web television series, "Orange Is the New Black" will be heading to the small screen next year. "Orange is the New Black" Season 5 would be having its premier most likely on June 2017, as reportedly. On the other hand, there were speculations that on its upcoming season Piper Elizabeth Chapman would be facing death.
Piper Chapman, portrayed by Taylor Schilling is a protagonist in "Orange Is the New Black". Chapman is a 32-year-old White Anglo-Saxon Protestant who was sentenced to prison. Before she got engaged To Larry Bloom, she was a bisexual with whom she had a love affair with Alex Vause, played by Laura Prepon.
There was news leaked on the internet that Piper Chapman would be having its final goodbye in "Orange is the New Black" Season 5. According to News Everyday, it was reported that Chapman's character might end on its 5th season.
As the news released by I Tech Post, Prepon was asked in an interview about what would happen to Alex and Chapman's character in "Orange is the New Black" Season 5. On her interview, it was hinted that Chapman's character might end soon.
"We've seen Alex and Piper go through so many things," she said. "It's this whole push-pull thing and that's not going to change anytime soon. I don't know if people like that can stay together for too long. But whatever comes in season 5 will be great."
There were no confirmations yet from the showrunners if Chapman would be facing death in "Orange is the New Black" Season 5. However, as it was shown on its previous season, Chapman has made a lot of enemies during her time in the prison. Perhaps, this could be the possibility that her character might end as she would be facing her death. Besides, it was rumored that there would be a 'prison riot'.
