'Making a Murderer' Season 2 Update: Testing of Evidence on Steven Avery's Case

"Making a Murderer" is a Netflix documentary. It deals with the case of Steven Avery, and his nephew, Brendan Dassey, who murdered the photographer Teresa Harlach.

According to Parent Herald Netflix already announced the season two of "Making a Murderer," though, there is no official date when will it be. The new season will tackle the conviction of Dassey

"Making a Murder" Season 1 was released on Netflix on December 18, 2015 with ten episodes. The directors Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demo are constantly moving from New York and Wisconsin while filming the story and case of Steven Avery for ten years to seek for evidences and developments as reported by Jobs & Hire.

Another report from DailyMail, Avery spent 18 years in prison for wrong accusation of attempted murder and sexual assault to Penny Beerntsen. But on 2003 he was proven not guilty when his DNA did not match the evidence. After two years, he was arrested again and charged with murdering Teresa Halbach in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. His nephew, Brendan Dassey, also charged when he confessed under interrogation.

Last Wednesday, the judge ordered testing of evidence on Steven Avery case as per Yahoo. Avery's blood sample will be included on testing the evidence. Indeed, for Avery, this is a good news before the Thanksgiving.

On the other hand, Brendan Dassey was supposedly be released on Friday, November 25. However, it was blocked by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

In the series, Dassey was put under pressure by the police investigators. He was forced in the interrogation without the presence of lawyer or parent. He was questioned unfairly at his young age, 16.

The case, as well as Avery and Dassey, became popular after Netflix released its documentary. The directors, Demos and Ricciardi are still gathering significant information for Season 2. There's still a lot to investigate on different angles from this ongoing case.
