There are speculations that Theo James will not be with Shailene Woodley in "Divergent: Ascendant" TV Show. He is focusing on a new project "Underworld: Blood Wars."
If this is true, it will leave Shailene Woodley alone without her partner from the "Divergent" movie which many fans adored. As reported by Movie News Guide, the sequel "Divergent : Ascendant" has been changed from a full movie to a television series. The issues between James and Woodley are suspected to be one of the reasons for the change.
Fans do not understand why Four, who is one of the main characters of "Divergent" will decide to leave the sequel. Perhaps, the other project is simply taking too much of his time.
James has been offered parts in many projects and is now one of the most sought after actors. "Underworld: Blood Wars" is a huge project and James might be justified in focusing his talents on this one. He is not commenting on his role in the sequel "Divergent: Ascendant."
The relationship between James and Woodley is reported to be unstable. Chatt Sports Net hinted that it might have been affected when James started other personal relationships that exclude Woodley. Despite the personal conflicts, Woodley is still trying to ask James not to leave her alone in the "Divergent: Ascendant" TV sequel.
The worst thing that can happen is the rumor that Shailene Woodley is also leaving the show. This will be a big disappointment for the fans that have been followed the two actors whom they believe are good for each other.
Because the last sequel "Divergent: Allegiant" did not do so well and was rated poorly, Lionsgate has reduced the budget for the next sequel. The budget is good enough for a television film and not for a full length movie production. With Theo James engrossed in "Underworld: Blood Wars" and Shailene Woodley unsure where she stands, the future of the sequel "Divergent: Ascendant" is not clear.
