'Frozen 2’ Spoilers: New Voice Actor For Elsa: Rihanna, Taylor Swift & Demi Lovato On List; Lesbian Ice Queen Pushes Through?

"Frozen 2" may have a new voice actor for the ice queen Elsa's character after rumors revealed that Idina Menzel might not make it due to her wedding preparations. Singers Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato are said to be some of the probable replacement on the list to voice the lead.

After the success of "Frozen" back in 2013, fans could not hide their excitement as the Disney confirmed the coming of a sequel movie on 2018. In fact, recordings have already started for voice actors such as Josh Gad (Olaf) and Kristen Bell (Princess Anna) who both share the same delight.

However, singer-actress Idina Menzel could hardly keep on the schedule of recordings due to her other endeavors and might even leave the sequel as reported on Parent Herald. In that case, a special spot is said to be left open, but who is the most suitable to take the throne?

Aside from Rihanna, Swift and Lovato's names, the same report says Vannesa Hudgens, a former Disney star in the High School Musical movie series, is also on the roll to replace Menzel as the lead. All singers except Riri have their own versions of the "Frozen" official soundtrack "Let it go".

Meanwhile, "Frozen 2" also became controversial due to speculations and petitions of turning the Ice Queen into a lesbian. Movie News Guide revealed that the film's director Chris Bucker is also planning to have Elsa falling in love with another woman though the report said nothing is yet confirmed regarding such.

In the sequel, Olaf will also meet a new character - a snow woman, with whom he will share a love, as per the same report. However, Elsa's twist of fate has not been finalized due to some contradictions from the audience.

And while there are oppositions, many people, including Menzel herself, still support the idea of a Lesbian Disney Princess as it serves as a bold move in representing the said sexual preference. Enthusiasts also claim that now is the right time to give the audience a piece of reality.
