After Kanye West was hospitalized, reports and rumors proliferated over the internet telling that the rapper has stopped the intake of his medications for antidepressant called "Lexapro" that could have resulted to his inconsistent behaviour and eventually led to his hospitalization. However, a close friend of West revealed that the rumors are definitely untrue.
A source revealed to TMZ that West has been undergoing through medication to be able to control his mental health issues and that, the rapper stopped taking his prescribed medications which led to his psychological breakdown and was later on rushed and admitted to UCLA Medical Center on November. Said site also reported that the mental distress of Kim Kardashian, West's wife, in the robbery in Paris (where robbers sneaked into Kardashian's apartment in Paris and stole her jewelleries worth $10 million) caused West's irregular intake of medications.
The "source" also confidently affirmed that the deviation on pharmaceuticals was the cause of the hospitalization of West which later on formulated a theory that the rapper's reliance on Lexapro plays a vital role in the struggle of West when it comes to his health. After the report was issued, readers have come to believe that it was really the Lexapro which caused the erratic behaviour and immediate hospitalization of Kanye.
However, Gossip Cop has confirmed from one of Kanye's closest friends that the reports in connection with the antidepressant medication causing the rapper hospitalization were a hundred percent hoax. The source assured as well all the information disclosed by the alleged source has no basis at all and the latter's claim is basically untrue and completely unrelated to the real cause of Kanye's sudden behavioural change and hospitalization.
