'Justice League:' Should the Movie be the Final Installment of the DC Extended Universe?

"Aquaman" moved its date a little bit late. Originally, this will premiere on July 27, 2018, however, the new releasing date will be on October 5, 2018. Now, speculations started to spread that "Justice League" should be the last sequel of DC Films and focus in making "new" movies instead.

According to Forbes, DC Films movies took longer to released its movies rather than the movies offered by MCU. Since 2013 until this coming 2018, there are only 6 films produced by DC Films. While MCU already had 10 movies since the end of 2014. Paramount and Walt Disney on the other hand had; 6 movies with no sequels from 2008 until 2014; and from 2010 until 2014, these productions had four sequels.

To surpass all of these, DC films reportedly need to make "new" movies rather than  "sequel." Making new movies of DC Film and Warner Bros. means introducing a new characters; not just by classifying the characters in a certain sequel.

An example from this report is; "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" the movie became a hit because viewers saw Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman altogether (these three had separate movies). Another example is "Suicide Squad," this became hit not because of the movie alone, it is because the villains are gathered like Harley Quinn. It is said that, characters from each movie create a bigger impact than the context. A standalone film for each character is said to be a lot better than making a sequel.

So is it really more helpful if "Justice League" will be the last sequel of DC Films? Is it better if each characters will make each stories rather than including them into some sort of sequels? And lastly, is this alright for DC Films to make new movies in order to compete with other productions? Though, DC Film did not talked any of it.

However, "Justice League" will hit the big screen this coming November 2017; just recently, the full trailer was released. A previous report from Jobs & Hire.
