‘Beauty And The Beast’ News & Updates: Things Fans Need To Know About the Disney Classic Hit

"Beauty and the Beast" is a remarkable Disney film that touched the lives of children throughout the ages. Now, that a live adaptation of the film is here there are a lot of things fans of the movie would want to know.

Fans of the original story can rest at ease for the story is going to be true to the original film. It will stay true the classic French fairytale created by Jeanne- Marie Leprince de Beaumont.

"The Beast, who was a prince, will still be cursed because of her arrogance. There will still be a witch who will transform the prince into the beast because of his horrendous attitude. True love's kiss will still break the curse and he must do this before the enchanted rose sheds its last petal or he will forever be a beast," Inquisitr reported.

The site also reported that even though the film will use the original soundtrack from the original "Beauty and the Beast," the composers still wrote new tracks for the film. Creators of the show also said that they made Belle an inventor, who invented a washing machine.

They added that instead of manually doing laundry that takes a lot of time she invented the washing machine to read more books. The creators did this to give more emphasis to the reason why Belle did not fit in the town that she lives in.

Now going to Emma Watson, she refused to wear a corset in the film to be more active. However, Watson still worked closely to make sure that Belle still looked like a Disney princess.

Emma Watson has the blessing of Paige O' Hara which is the original Belle. O' Hara believes that Watson is the best fit to play Belle because of the intelligence and humor that she knows Watson will bring to the character.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the movie is filled with a star studded casts. There is "Downtown Abbey" actor Dan Stevens who will play the Beast and "The Hobbit" actor Luke Evens to play Gaston.

"Frozen" actor Josh Gad will play Gaston's sidekick LeFou with "Young Pope" actor Ewan McGregor and "X-Men" actor Ian McKellen as Lumiere and Cogworth. Jobs & Hire reported that "Beauty and The Beast" will premiere on March 17, 2017.
