Mick Still Got It: 73-Year Old Mick Jagger Welcomes Baby Boy No. 8

Mick Jagger, or shall we call, Sir Mick Jagger (he's honoured with a knighthood) and his ballerina girlfriend, Melanie Hamrick welcomed a baby boy on December 8. Hamrick gave birth in New York City. The baby boy is Jagger's latest addition to his brood of 7, which former the youngest is 17 years old.

Jagger's publicist, according to the report by CNN, revealed the news and stated that Jagger was with Samrick at the baby's arrival, adding "Mother and baby are doing well and we request that the media respect their privacy at this time."

They started dating on 2014. Hamrick is a ballerina and was performing at Metropolitan Opera right before she was linked to Jagger. Jagger and Hamrick announced the pregnancy just last July.

Jagger is 73 years old and had 7 children from various relationships. His eldest is the 45-year old Karis Hunt Jagger, from the US star Marsha Hunt, and next is the 44-year old Jade from Bianca Jagger. His children with the model Jerry Hall are Elizabeth, 32, James, 30, the model Georgia May, 24, and Gabriel, 18.  Jagger's youngest is the 17-year old Lucas, from the Brazilian Luciana Gimenez.

Jagger already has a great-granddaughter. His granddaughter Assisi Jackson (from Jade) gave birth to a baby girl on May 19, 2014.

Jagger is a songwriter, lead singer, and a cofounder of the English rock group Rolling Stones. His career spanned over 50 years, and his distinctive voice and concert performance gave the group their trademark. Despite his marked countercultural stance during the band's heyday, Jagger received a knighthood 'for services to popular music' on 2002 by Queen Elizabeth II.

Despite his remarkable age, Jagger showed no signs of slowing down on concert performances. Jagger performed at the 2016 Desert Trip music festival held at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
