Paul George Trade Rumors: Indiana Pacers Could Send George To Portland Trailblazers For C.J. McCollum And Other Players

Paul George has been linked to some NBA trade rumors lately though there are no confirmations from the Indiana Pacers about his availability. But some of the latest rumors have it that George could be traded to the Portland Trailblazers in exchange for C.J. McCollum.

The Trailblazers have been involved in NBA trade rumors since it's looking to improve its defense by getting a player of superstar caliber that could provide some defensive intensity. According to Oregon Live, pursuing such a player will definitely involve C.J. McCollum in the deal along with other key players.

CBS Detroit reported that Paul George might be available. There are NBA trade rumors about the Detroit Pistons acquiring George in exchange for some of its key players. There is also news about the Boston Celtics planning to get him since it has a lot of available pieces to offer. The Oklahoma City Thunder might also be interested since they are reportedly looking for a wingman.

But NBA trade rumors suggest that the Trailblazers could be the best landing spot for George since it can offer McCollum in return. McCollum has been playing phenomenal this season and has been averaging 22.1 PPG, 3.7 APG and 3.6 RPG.

The Pacers would benefit from the deal since the Trailblazers guard has the potential to become a star and culd be the next face of the Pacers franchise. On the other hand, the Trailblazers would get a superstar caliber player in the likes of George and it's obvious that he will be a big plus for the team.

The Trailblazers might need to give up more but getting George would definitely help the team make a run for the playoffs. He would compliment Damian Lillard and both players would be a force to reckon with both defensively and offensively.

The Western Conference is very tough this season and the Trailblazers need to add some talent to its roster. If these NBA trade rumors materialize, the league would become very interesting this season.
