'Fuuka' Anime's Television Adaptation Is Coming: First Commercial Released

The video advertisement for Kouji Seo's latest TV anime adaptation "Füka" has been released and the plot reveals a focus on a love triangle.

The widely-received anime "Füka" has created a buzz since the announcement of its TV series adaptation in August of this year. Now that the ad is finally here, more and more fans look forward to its upcoming premiere.

The commercial has been available for live streaming on its own official website last Friday, says Anime News Network. The video features a narrator that introduces the story as "a love triangle that starts from music." An earlier report describes the main character named Yü Haruna who is timid in school and whose world only revolves around social media--Twitter to be specific--as he tries to reconnect with his childhood friend.

My Anime List narrates that eventually, Yü Haruna meets a girl named Füka Akitsuki in a rather weird circumstance. Füka is "free-spirited, and naturally, fascinates others." The plot thickens from there as the two meet Yü's childhood friend and create a love triangle among them.

Kouji Seo released the anime's manga in 2014, and since its noted success, the supporters have warmly welcomed the idea of supporting a possible TV adaptation, which has now been finally put to work. Now, with the TV ad comes the next question: Is there an advanced screening for the excited fans?

Yes, there is! Before the actual pilot, the first episode will be shown at the Tokyo Yurakuchon Mullion Annex scheduled on Dec. 29 at 7:30 p.m. The supporters can expect a complete appearance of the main characters plus the music artists behind the anime's soundtrack.

Together with a short talk, more revelations regarding the show will be made public during the event. To top it all, everyone will get signed postcards as a souvenir from Seo too.
