For those who are looking for a good Christmas gift idea can take a look at the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Both consoles are being offered for only $250, for a limited time, which started on December 11. 2016.
According to the PlayStation Blog, Sony is bringing back the promo, called "Uncharted 4 PS4 Bundle," following its success during the Black Friday weekend. Residents of the U.S. can now purchase a PS4 from participating retailers for only $250 until December 24.
Included in the bundle will the PS4's slimmer model along with 500 GB hard drive, a DualShock 4, and "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" game. Canadian residents can enjoy the bundled console for $330.
Of course, PlayStation 4's rival console, the Xbox One, won't just be standing by and watch Sony's latest console dominate the citizen's Christmas presents. GameSpot reported that Xbox marketing VP Mike Nichols also mentioned that the Xbox One S will also be available for only $250.
It wasn't mentioned how long the promo will last, but it's safe to assume that it won't go beyond the December 24 promo end that Sony set for the PS4. Microsoft's drop in prices is due more to the actions that Sony has taken.
The company's Xbox One has consistently been the top-selling console in the US since July. But in November, the PS4 has unseated the Xbox as the top console and this is primarily due to the $250 promo.
So when Sony brought the $250 promo back for the PS4, Microsoft followed suit, which is good news for people who are living in the U.S., especially during this Christmas season. Now the people who are having a hard time looking for a good Christmas present at a good price can consider the PS4 or the Xbox One for their gift ideas.
