‘Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars’: Amy Duggar Clears Abuse Claim On Camp

Amy Duggar, a member of the famous Duggar clan of "19 Kids and Counting" cleared the abuse claim on "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars." She and her husband Dillion King appeared on the reality show together.

In one of the footages for the show's new season, she was quoted saying, "He picked me up by my throat ... all the way up to the ceiling." In another one, she said, "We have nothing to f--king hide." Those footages were presumed to be referring to her husband.

The niece of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar was quick to clear up the name of her husband. US Weekly reported that she posted on Twitter a clarification that it was not her husband. However, she failed to name the one concerned.

Amy Duggar used to be a mainstay of the shelved show "19 Kids and Counting" together with the whole Duggar Clan. However, because of the scandals that her cousin Josh Duggar was accused of, the show's rating plummeted. It was eventually canceled due to loss of endorsers.

The show birthed "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" with Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald. The show has been enthusiastically received by the fans of the former family reality show.

Amy Duggar and Dillon King met through mutual friends but their relationship did not start right away. They hung out as friends for seven years.

King was surprised when he knew how strict and how conservative her family was. Amy Duggar admitted that she allowed him to discover by himself and did not tell him out rightly.

But when they transitioned from friends to lovers, the couple did not wait for long to get engaged. The happy couple shared that they were engaged for two months and decided to get married.

Watch Amy Duggar on "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars." It will premiere on January 7, 2017, at 9pm ET on WE tv.
