Upon the release of the movie "Moana" on November 23, 2016, the movie has immediately received much appreciation making it a critically acclaimed work in the field of movie and film. The Warner Bros film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them" was already surpassed by "Moana" during the weekends including another Walt Disney- produced movie 'Doctor Strange'. "Doctor Strange" only garnered the fifth place in the weekend's box office record with earnings of $4.6 million. However, in terms of total gross "Doctor Strange" has already earned a worldwide box office hit of $44.5 million as such there is a chance that "Moana" could again surpass this value.
Weekend's box office blockbuster includes "Moana", of course being the top one followed by "Office Christmas Party". The third place was taken by "Fantastic Beast and Where to Find them" with "Arrival" taking the fourth place as reported by Rottentomatoes.
