According to Billboard, StubHub has revealed the top events that were based on sales through the company's ticketing business in 2016. Super Bowl of course, came in first featuring the events of Chicago Clubs and Cleveland Indians. However, music concerts were considered to be the winner based on overall total ticket sales in 2016. 'Theater' placed first followed by 'music festivals' and 'concerts' landed in the fifth place.
The main event, the 2016 top ten music tours were already revealed with Adele being in the first place followed by Justin Bieber, Bruce Springsteen, Beyoncé, Drake, Billy Joel, Coldplay, Guns N Roses, Pearl Jam and Luke Bryan respectively.
Furthermore, StubHub made an analogy for the four professional sports as to the most associated and inclined music artists who performed in each of the four events. Springsteen for the hockey and baseball league, football league for the super bowl performance of Beyoncé, and lastly, Drake for basketball association.
