Digital Marketing Trends: Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Partners

Digital marketing trends will be transformed this year, says the CEO and founder of Influence Central. From artificial intelligence to mobile partners, digital marketing will take on a new form this 2017.

In an article published by Forbes, it lists down the many new digital marketing trends that are expected to surface this year. Stacy DeBroff, CEO and founder of Influence Central, shares her thoughts on the future of marketing.

Artificial Intelligence

According to DeBroff, artificial intelligence solutions will be one way for consumers to find clarity and order in the fast and complex, information-filled world. It will most likely be used to analyze data found on the net and then utilized to predict the needs of customers in a more precise manner.

Niche Expertise

People will also be going to specialists with niche expertise that will filter product and service recommendations to best suit the needs and wants of individuals. It will be more customized and personal.

Mobile Partners

Seeing as almost everyone has a mobile in hand nowadays, this device is going to be the new shopping partner. Through apps, people will have more access to filtered information, be able to fact check product details quickly, and use online coupons.

Fall in Intrusive Marketing

Consumers find pop-up ads as well as brands and promos that are pushed in their faces in social media as disruptive. Dissatisfaction over intrusive marketing will deepen, writes DeBroff, because today's consumers want to learn about new products at their own time and pace.

Visual Age

Millennials and Generation Z are beginning to look to images and videos as new ways to gather information. They want for visual platforms to have "live action, visual storytelling."
