6 NFL Teams To Apply In If You Want To Be A Head Coach

NFL presents a tough situation for would-be head coaches. Not everyone can coach NFL players into doing the best that they could for a team, especially when each and everyone has different motivations.

In addition to the team players, a would-be head coach should also consider the team's situation when it comes to looking for a team to apply in. While coaching for an NFL team alone is already an honor, a good environment would still be great for a would-be head coach's mental and physical health.

Yahoo Sports reported that out of 32 NFL teams to coach, only six of them present the best head-coaching situation. According to the report, all of the six teams have great players and great manager that could potentially push them to win. Being the head coach of a winning NFL team would be dream come true for most coaches.

While all NFL teams have impressive characteristics, Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Diego Chargers, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills have the best situation for head coaches.

The list comes just as Sean McDermott continues to look for a head-coaching job, The Charlotte Observer reported. McDermott reportedly met with Buffalo Bills regarding securing the head coach job.

If McDermott gets the head coach job with Buffalo Bills, he would have to resign as the defensive coordinator of Carolina Panthers. It is unclear how McDermott's leaving will affect Carolina Panthers.

Aside from Buffalo Bills, McDermott held discussions about taking the head coach job at 49ers. Chip Kelly, the former coach of the team, had been fired.

According to speculations, there is a greater chance that McDermott will become the head coach of Buffalo Bills. He reportedly clinched a second interview with the team regarding the position.
