Bush On Defense Against Obama’s Critics On Playing Golf

Orlando, Fla. (AP)- Former President of the US George Bush release a statement to defend the recent President Barack Obama, against the issue that Obama is spending too much time playing golf.

Bush made his statement during a live telecast on "In Play with Jimmy Roberts" every Tuesday night. He said that there is nothing wrong with Obama playing golf, as he fully understands the pressure that the White House is facing today, as he was once in charge of the US government. He added that playing golf is one of the ways that kill stress, especially if you've got a very serious and tough job that one can have. "I think he ought to play golf", Bush said.

Based on the American history, golf is one of the favorite recreational activities among US presidents, with a ratio of 15:18 plays golf. Some of them were even on the list of World Golf Hall of Fame that includes Dwight D. Eisenhower and George H.W. Bush. Eisenhower was also part of the Augusta National.

However Bush quit playing golf during the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, which US was known to be one of the chief commander. He added that during those times, he finds it unethical to still play golf while many soldiers were sacrificing their lives just to beat terrorism. But still Bush revealed that golf is truly a good release for tension and stress on his appearance in Robert's show.

According to the CBS.news data, Obama almost had 140 rounds of golf since he started his office at the White House. For some, this may be too much, considering that a president must occupy most of his time in monitoring the condition of his nation. But to Bush, people must also understand that Obama needs a quality of relaxation time.
