Chuckesmee, the creepiest animatronic doll that the world has ever seen, will see the light thanks to a special feature from the new "Twilight" Blu-Ray/DVD collection released this week.
The doll, named after a fusion of Chucky and Renesmee Cullen, was supposed to be included as the child of Bella and Edward in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2"; nevertheless, the cast started to be scared of the doll and it was cut from the movie.
"Chuckesme is one of the most grotesque, animatronic babies ever to not be seen on the film," "Twilight" producer Wyck Godrey said in the Blu-ray commentary clip. "The doll was nixed after one day on set. We ended up pulling this thing out on the day and shooting it [but] the second you're holding it up, you realize this is never going to work. NO fake thing is ever going to do the trick."
The doll was supposed to give life to Renemsee Cullen, an immortal half-human, half-vampire child that ages at an abnormal speed.
At the end, producers decided to use Mackenzie Foy, 12, as the grown-up Renesmee Cullen.
