Actress Khandi Alexander joined the cast of drama series "Scandal" as mother of Kerry Washington's political character Olivia Pope.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Khandi will play Maya Lewis and will make her debut on Thursday Nov. 7 in a recurring role on the current third season of the series.
Lisa Kudrow, Cynthia Stevenson and Dan Bucantinsky are other three guest stars to be included in Scandal Season 3.
