(LOGANVILLE, GA) According to The Huffington Post, a couple was arrested for having sex in a Waffle House parking lot on November 3rd. The Loganville police report indicates that an officer observed the couple in the act of sexual relations in the rear seat of a Dodge truck.
Called to the scene around 1:30am, police noticed a strong odor of alcohol and administered a breathalyzer test to both of the accused.
Frank Lucas and Rachel Gossett were arrested and charged with public drunkenness and loitering. Lucas registered a 0.154 and Gossett registered a 0.216 on the breathalyzer.
Although a citizen's complaint prompted the police attention, the couple avoided an indecency charge because the Dodge truck was parked in a covert manner in which public display was hindered. Even though Gossett apparently sat naked in the front seat for quite a while, too intoxicated to comprehend police orders and get dressed immediately, the couple still managed to "Dodge" that bullet.
Quite the spectacle, exposed and drunkenly un-composed, Gossett even attempted to put an uneaten cheeseburger on her foot thinking it was a shoe, according to the authorities.
Lucas, far more in control of his motor skills, dressed quickly upon being told to do so. The police report states that both Lucas and Gossett were loud, argumentative, staggering and slurring their words. Lucas claims that they walked to the truck from the popular bar, Brucey's, which is located in a bowling ally that is actually two miles away. Lucas further claims that the truck was parked at the Waffle House all day.
The couple will face a judge, fully clothed, sometime in January.
