Home Depot Racist Tweet Releases Internet Wrath

Home Depot is now on the aim of social media after the company posted a "racist" on its Twitter account causing people to complain and fight back on Thursday.

Right away, the company deleted the tweet that was showing a picture of two African-American drummers with a person wearing a gorilla costume.

"Which drummer is not like the others?" the tweet read.

The tweet, pulled off immediately, was part of a promotional campaign for a "College Gameday".

"We have zero tolerance for anything so stupid and offensive. Deeply sorry. We terminated agency and individual who posted it," The Home Depot tweeted.

This is not the first time a company does wrong on social media. In September, telecom AT&T used 9/11 WTC Attacks to promote itself and KitchenAid faced anger of people when one of its employees mistakenly posted a tweet about Obama's grandmother death using official Kitchen Aid's account.
