Veterans Day Honored By Google Doodle

Google Doodle is celebrating Veterans Day today with a bigger logo depicting a parade of Veterans Day, date that was originally called Armistice Day because of the soldiers that battled in World War I.

In 1985, the word "Armostice" was replaced with "Veterans" in order to honor all veterans and not only those who served in WWI.

Led by President Barack Obama, civil and military officials across the nation placed wreaths on important monuments to celebrate Veterans of American History.

"We join as one people to honor a debt we can never fully repay," Obama said at Arlington National Cemetery during the wreath ceremony.
