A woman, who was kidpnapped in Louisiana, was tracked down and rescued by her family before they killed the captor.
Bethany Arceneaux, 29, was abducted on Wednesday in Lafayette by her ex-boyfriend Scott Thomas and father to her son, Daily Advertiser reported.
According to previous reports, the man forced his way into Arceneaux car as she honked for help and one woman stepped by.
Arceneaux begged Derrimetrie Robinson to take her son. Robinson took the 2-year-old boy as Thomas achieved to force Arceneaux to get into his car before he sped away.
While Lafayette Police Department had little information about Arceneaux, her family started to post fliers about her and to search in surrounding areas.
Afterward, witnesses gave clue about a house, Thomas and Arceneaux were reportedly occupying.
More than a dozen people among family members and neighborhood residents arrived to the house were Arceneaux was screaming loudly asking for help.
"The family converged on the house, kicking down the door as Thomas allegedly began stabbing Arceneaux multiple times," local news station KLFY reported. "An armed family member shot Thomas three times, killing him."
This wasn't the first time Thomas tried to harm Arceneaux. In the past, he choked her, dragged her by the hair and held her and her son hostage.
