According to some spoilers for American Horror Story season 3 episode 11 titled "Protect the Coven," we will see through flashbacks the life of Madame LauLaurie in the 1830s New Orleans. We will find out what led her into becoming the cruel and devious lady she turned out to be and we will discover how she developed "her penchant for cruelty." Interestingly, according to the latest buzz on the upcoming 4th season of the series, the new storyline will be a "period piece" with most of the cast returning, said FX CEO John Landgraf. Landgraf even adds that it is up to co-creator Ryan Murphy since he has "virtual carte blanche to do whatever he wants to do." It can be noted that Murphy revealed last October that he wants to change the format of how the theme, location, and title of the new season is released. "I always thought it would be cool to have the season end and the last image will be this is what the next season is about and you'll get the title," he said in an interview with E! Online.
