Jennette McCurdy Twin [PHOTOS] Does Young Actress Jennette McCurdy Really Have A Twin?

Jennette McCurdy twin - Right after iCarly aired its seemingly tricky episode that featured Melanie Puckett, Jennette McCurdy's character Sam's twin sister, many show fans began to wonder if indeed the young actress has a real twin sister in real life. To this day, the repercussions of that episode continue to get a lot of attention on the internet. But does Jennette McCurdy really have a twin?

In the hit teen show iCarly, Jennette McCurdy's twin or specifically her alleged on-screen twin Melanie Puckett has only appeared once in an episode titled "iTwins." Following that episode, Melanie reappeared on "#Twinfection" and she was only mentioned at least twice and nothing more since Sam obviously disliked her twin.

In the episode, Freddie even found it hard to believe that Sam Puckett has a twin. Show fans, on the other hand, were fully aware that Melanie Puckett was a completely different character from Sam. For one thing, her personality is the complete opposite of Sam's.

Another issue that was presented about Jennette McCurdy's twin on-screen was the fact that their mother, Pam Puckett favors the decent and uptight Melanie Puckett.

In real life however, Jennette McCurdy doesn't need to vie from her siblings for the attention of their parents as she is the only rose among the thorns. Yes! Jennette McCurdy does not have a twin.

Jennette was born in Long Beach, California to a family of four kids. She is the only girl and she has three older brothers named Marcus, Scott, and Dustin.

Hence, Jennette McCrudy's twin was all camera-trick. But Nickelodeon did a pretty awesome job in tricking fans into believing that the young television actress/country pip singer-songwriter has a twin.

McCurdy has appeared in a couple of shows so far. Apart from her sitcom iCarly and the famous spin-off Sam & Cat, she has made notable appearances on Victorious, Zoey 101, VP, True Jackson, Malcolm in the Middle, and Lincoln Heights.
