In an interview back in 2010, Duvall recognized the fact that his wife was "much younger" than he is. To be exact, he is 41 years older than his wife Luciana.
However, everytime the issue on the age gap between them is raised, the actor always shoved it off as something that is very favorable since they have "the same birthday, January 5th."
Nevertheless, Duvall has shared that the age gap has its drawbacks. For example, when he finally got the chance to meet his wife Luciana's father.
"When I met her father he said, 'I don't know whether to call you Father or Son!'" Robert told Washington Post.
