Death Hoax News Posted On Facebook Victimizes A Couple In San Diego About Their Relative Found Dead At Home

Death Hoax recently perpetuated by an unknown fraudster who posted that a relative of a couple from San Diego was found dead caused by a gas leak in their home, created panic and horror from the tragic news they had recently found on their Facebook page. The couple, Joel and Claire Ladrido immediately responded to the death hoax which did not went well for them, according to NBC San Diego news.

The Death Hoax caused a lot of panic, Claire Ladrido said "He's on the phone with 911 on one cell phone and on my cell phone he was calling family from the Philippines, from Guam, from Hawaii," describing her husband Joel Ladrido's actions upon hearing the news, while she was driving on their way to the relative's house.

The main worry for the victim of the death hoax, Joel Ladrido, was what will happen if their parents would discover the horrible news. At the time they arrived to Joel sister's house, who was the reported to be the relative that died, they spotted a fire truck and six police vehicles on the area who responded to the emergency call he made during his call via 911.

During those moments of panic, Joel Ladrido got a shocking phone call from her sister's phone number, discovering that sje was still alive. Joel's only reaction was saying if her sister was still okay and where she was at that time.

The death hoax Facebook post was discovered by the couple saying that Joel sister's died, came while they were having dinner. Joel Ladrido who initially carried out a call to her sister's cell and home phone was not able to get an answer immediately prompting them to call the authorities. Upon reading the death hoax post in Facebook, Joel said "I just completely broke down. It was hard to handle my emotions."

The question now is where did the death hoax post came from, which contains news bout the death of his sister providing a time of death, cause of death, instructions to communicate with the Medical Examiner, and to make burial arrangements. As of the moment nobody really knows the motive and identity of the perpetrator of the death hoax, but speculations were made that it was done to prank the couple.
