Bentley to Bring More Jobs to the Market

The luxury car producer Bentley has announced that it will bring around 140 jobs to the market.

The company that is headquartered in Pyms Lane, Crewe, has announced the addition of around 90 experienced engineers and 51 entry-level engineering specialists as the basis of their $800 million development and expansion project.

The announcement comes as a result of Bentley's record prouction year 2013, when the manufacturer was requested to deliver around 10,000 more cars, the highest rate in the firm's 95-year history of business.

The company currently employs around 3,700 people at its Crewe main office,  including and intends to boost its car production number to 15,000 by 2018.

Dr Ariane Reinhart, a HR specialist at at Bentley, has explained: "It is vital we continue to bring fresh thinking into the business and continually develop talent and craftsmanship.

"We need skilled and committed individuals who will help us sustain levels of excellence that are important to our own successful future."

The company believes that the new generation of engineers will also bring more modernistic features to its company's products. For example, Anna Appleton, 21 years old, born in Sandbach, is one of the people who has taken an entry-level, apprentice role at the car production giant. Her statement was that: "I'm pleased to know that even more people will be benefiting from similar opportunities to those that I have had. My own scheme is providing me with a breadth of experience which I potentially would not have received through education alone. It's great news that Bentley is continuing to contribute to the development of young talent."

Cheshire East Council Leader Michael Jones has announced: "This is a tremendous vote of confidence in Crewe. It is a welcome boost for the local economy and further proof that Crewe is a town with huge potential.

The addition of more luxury car jobs shows a more stable luxury car market which will probably result in additional job creation in that field.
