A mother was arrested due to the suspicion that she has murdered her three daughters. The youngest of the kids was only 2 months old.
Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies were summoned to a private zone in a Los Angeles suburb after 5 p.m., based on information from a Sheriff's Department statement.
"When they arrived, they were met by family members who told the deputies that a mother had killed her children," the statement explained.
Sheriffs have discovered the bodies of three female kids - a 3-year-old, 2-year-old and 2-month-old. They were immediately proclaimed as dead at the scene.
"The deputies were directed to the house by the grandmother," sheriff's homicide Lt. Dave Coleman told the Daily Breeze of Torrance . "We did find the babies inside the residence."
Carol Coronado, 30, has been arrested immediately for a suspicion of a murder and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. Authorities say that she has not made any comments.
Neighbor Ashley Madrid has witnessed that the father has been working on his car when all of a sudden he started shouting when the grandmother found the three kids in a pool of blood and started screaming.
"I saw when they were bringing him out," Madrid said. "He was crying. He was crying, 'She killed my daughters!'"
Madrid said the mom held a knife in her hands and tried cutting her wrists after she had murdered the kids.
The mother was completely naked, except for a blanket that she had over her shoulders. She was immediately taken to a security car and after that into an ambulenace.
"She was full of blood on her face and arms," Madrid said.
The grandmother had claimed that the young woman had called her earlier today, saying that she was going out of her mind. A real tragedy.
