Ted Nugent's concert canceled? Apparently, yes. Ted Nugent's concert has been canceled after a Native American tribe has raised their concern on how racist the musician is.
According to Huffington Post, Ted Nugent's concert was canceled just almost two weeks shy for it to happen on a casino on Aug. 4.
The tribe was identified the Coeur d'Alene Tribe, and according to them, the rocker's "racist and hate-filled remarks" prompted them to cancel Ted Nugent's concert at the casino in the northwest Idaho city of Worley.
Prior to the cancellation, the tribe said they overlooked some things and booked Nugent without realizing first how racist his "attitudes and views" are.
Nevertheless, the Native American tribe didn't really point out or give specific details on why they are claiming that Ted Nugent is racist.
On the other hand, officials for the rocker's music company are not available to comment on why Ted Nugent's concert got canceled.
Meanwhile, it can be noted in the recent past that Nugent has once referred to U.S. President Barack Obama as a "subhuman mongrel."
The said "comment" was believed to have come from Nugent's speech when he campaigned with Texas Republican gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott in February, KWTX has learned.
When news broke about his comment on Obama, Ted apologized "for using the street fight terminology of subhuman mongrel" and used the term "liar" to refer to the president.
