Amy Schumer Making Major Movie Break Through ‘Trainwreck’

Amy Schumer's latest movie "Trainwreck" is the major break the actress was waiting for. The 34-year-old writer-comedian has shown her hilarity through the success of her television series, Mercury News noted. Now, she is ready to conquer the big screen.
Many might have wondered if Amy Schumer is capable of carrying a full-length movie, and the answer — a big yes! Amy Schumer's movie is an offbeat romantic comedy depicting the life of Amy and her association with men.
In Amy Schumer's movie "Trainwreck," the famed comedian plays the role of Amy, a magazine writer, whose love life is a bit of a commitment-free disaster, who gets an assignment from her crazy editor Dianna (Tilda Swinton) to profile a sports medicine doctor named Aaron (Bill Hader). However, their professional encounter turned into a personal one as they started dating, Deadline Hollywood reported.
Amy Schumer wrote the script of the movie, while it was helmed by comedy genius Judd Apatow. And a lot of cameos were also strewed throughout the film by NBA players including NBA king LeBron James and Amar'e Stoudemire.
Moreover, "Trainwreck" is full of hilarity and it also has shards of bruised emotions. Evidently, the movie is very personal to Schumer, who shared some traits with the character she portrays. She also showed her understanding of key emotions such as love and pain and successfully carried out her points in the film. In one touching scene, Schumer digs deep to prove that she possesses enough acting skill to induce tears as well as laughs, while Apatow came in handy as a guiding light to the actress.
It is also worth mentioning that Amy Schumer's movie "Trainwreck" is lucky to have good bench support. Oftentimes, this type of movie fills its roster out with juiceless stock roles, but Apatow gets terrific and surprising performances from everyone involved, including James, who steals scenes as easily as he fills up his stats sheet in NBA.
In other news, someone interesting was spotted on the set of Amy Schumer's movie. And it's no other than Maude Apatow, the director's eldest daughter.
"She's the coolest. She's cooler than me," Schumer told Refinery29 when asked about their relationship. "You know when you're around someone and you can just feel it? I'm always trying to impress her and be laid back."
When proud dad Judd Apatow was also asked for a comment about his daughter's connection to Amy Schumer, the director had nothing but amazing things to say about the two.
"Maude has been lucky enough to get to know Amy and Lena Dunham, and I think it has inspired her in the best possible way," the director said. "She has gotten to see these amazing, creative, hard working women at work and outside of work, and I hope it makes her see that anything is possible if you are that dedicated and kind."
Catch Amy Schumer's movie "Trainwreck" when it hits theaters July 17.
