'Street Fighter V' [TRAILER]: 3 Things You Should Know About New Character Nicalli
By Staff Reporter | Jul 20, 2015 05:09 PM EDT
Capcom announced a brand new character to join the "Street Fighter V" at the 2015 Evolution Championship Series or EVO 2015, according to Gamesided.
Meet Nicalli.
There are few details about this latest addition at this point. However, here are the important things you should know about him.
1. He has an animalistic fighting style that is ideal for close combat fighting.
His background in the "Street Fighter V" is still a mystery. But he is descirbed as similar to Blanka — with crazier hair.
He has no finesse, Game Informer has learned. To inflict maximum and brutalizing pain to his opponents, his attacks were forged from the heat of the battle.
For those players who want to put pressure on their opponents by not letting them breathe through continuous attacks, Nicalli's savage techniques and poundng attacks can come in handy.
2. He has a V-Skill.
It is also known as the "Culminate Power," wherein he uses both fists to strike the ground, causing explosions in front of another player.
The player has the option to adjust the distance of the explosion. Using the joystick, the player can aim right for farther, left for closer and neutral for mid.
These options will allow Nicalli to pressure opponents despite the distance.
3. He also has V-Trigger.
It seems like "Dragon Ball Z" is upon "Street Fighter V." Following Nicalli's V-Skill is the "Torrent Power," which also known as V-Trigger.
It's like entering into a Super Saiyan mode — complete with hot red hair color transformation. This option will place him in an altered state and give him the energy boost. In this state, he can go into critical alert and land new combos pressing the advantage in his favor.
Joining Nicalli in the roster of eight are Ryu, Chung-li, Nash, M. Bison, Cammy, Birdie and Ken. "Street Fighter V" is slated to be released in Spring 2016, as per the report of I Digital Time.
