The "Divergent-Allegiant" fandom is counting the days for its release in theatres mainly because of its lead cast Theo James and Shailene Woodley.

Author Veronica Roth's "Divergent" series' movie adaptation has since catapulted the two stars in an unexpected fame. Since "Divergent" was shown last 2014, viewers did not let go of their admiration toward Theo James and Shailene Woodley.

Another reason that fans got hooked on to this beautiful pair was due to their undeniably sexy and romantic on-screen chemistry. Despite what moviegoers saw on-screen though, Theo James confessed that he and co-star Shailene Woodley felt a little tension and awkwardness on the set of "Insurgent," as per Movie News Guide.

Theo James, 30, mentioned to Flickering Myth, "One thing Shai and I found is that when you come back after a year and at first you think it's fine because we've done these characters, it's all good, then you get on set and you do that first scene and it's like oh. It doesn't just come back, you've got to click into gear."

The second installment of "Divergent" made Theo James quite pleased that it leveled up to a "more adult" film. However, the "Underworld: Awakening" actor admitted that establishing a sequel was more difficult because of the fact that viewers and fans alike have set standards for the succeeding films.

Meanwhile, Theo James' breakthrough performances in the "Divergent" franchise have made him a household name, but, he insisted that popularity has not transformed him and that what keeps him grounded will always be his family.

Theo James, as per London Evening Standard, was a virtual unknown when he was cast in "Divergent." Yes, he has done several other projects, but none surpassed the attention that he got when the dystopian movie debuted last year.

"To be honest, one thing that's trickier, with how connected we are globally, is the blurring of the lines between being an actor as your job and being a celebrity," said the actor.

"Some people embrace it, some people like it and props to them if it works for them. But it can be a bit difficult because at the end of the day all this other stuff is irrelevant — acting is my job. I'm still the same person so it hasn't really changed me. It's not like I go to trendy parties, that's not particularly my thing."

"Divergent-Allegiant" actor Theo James, has four other elder siblings. He said that his family supports him in keeping his ego in check.

"We're a jokingly cynical family. You can't take this stuff too seriously. If you start taking yourself or it too seriously I think it can be damaging," he added.

In the meantime, while "Divergent-Allegiant" continues filming, every move of Theo James and Shailene Woodley will be scrutinized by the public, especially that their followers want them to make their on-screen partnership a reality.

Venture Capital Post reported that actress Shailene Woodley recently praised reel partner Theo James as being a good kisser which triggered more speculations of them secretly dating. But, for now, no confirmation has come from the "Divergent-Allegiant" stars.

"Divergent-Allegiant" is scheduled for release on March 18, 2016.
