Waiting for the release of "Winds of Winter?" While HBO's "Game of Thrones" is coming quite soon, it may be that the highly anticipated book's release date will be released soon, and will have a notable co-author to finish the book.

Fans have been waiting anxiously for George R.R. Martin to finish the "Game of Thrones'" last installment. Everyone is getting impatient knowing that HBO is releasing the television adaptation without the basis of "Winds of Winter."

News have spread like wildfire that the book may be published in 2017, if Neil Gaiman helps Martin finish the book. Martin previously announced that he may not be able to finish the book on time for the HBO season 6 premiere. He even expressed disappointment about not being able to finish it. However, that doesn't mean that the renowned author is going to slow down or stop production of the book.

It appears that Martin is enlisting Gaiman's help. Gaiman is known for his works such as "The Sandman" and "Good Omens Bad Omens." Reports aroused suspicion from the industry that the two may be working together when they were spotted in New Mexico together.

Gaiman's participation in "The Winds of Winter" may provide a much more fascinating perspective and creativity to the series. If all goes well, the 2017 "Winds of Winter "release date may happen.

Currently, Gaiman's camp has not commented on the subject but fans expect more details to come forth soon since HBO has already released its teaser for the season 6 premiere of "Game of Thrones." For now, fans are mostly expected to wait for the hard copy to be published and create their own assumptions and theories on the upcoming run.
