George R.R. Martin's "Game of Thrones" season 6 trailer has been released. It gave fans a glimpse of the characters' fates this coming April.
/FILM reported that HBO has finally released the full "Game of Thrones" season 6 trailer. The video contained scenes with violence, battles, sex, dragons, mythical ice monsters and its iconic characters.
The publication noted that the clip, which contained actual footage from the upcoming installment of the series, cut from character to character quickly. It aptly reminded viewers of "GoT's" many storylines.
However, George R.R. Martin's "Game of Thrones" season 6 trailer did provide an interesting preview for the impending season. "GoT" season 6 is slated to premiere this Apr. 24, 2016.
According to IGN, the trailer revealed how Sansa and Theon survived the drop while Davos is in mourning. Fans can also expect more flashbacks in the upcoming season based on the "Game of Thrones" season 6 trailer.
IGN added that, while season 6 will not follow any particular book since the "Winds of Winter" release date has been delayed, it could still have elements from "A Feast for Crows" and "A Dance with Dragons." This could mean that the Greyjoys and the Iron Islands would be featured in "GoT" season 6.
Fans have also been given a glimpse into Yara, Daenerys, Sansa and Bran's fates in the video. Meanwhile, Cersei and Jaime could hook up once again.
It was previously reported that some of the "Game of Thrones" season 6 cast has not read George R.R. Martin's books. Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) hasn't read "A Game of Thrones" while Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) hasn't read "A Clash of Kings." Another Lannister, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who portrays Jaime, actually has not read "A Song of Ice and Fire."
Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) hasn't read "A Storm of Swords." Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), on the other hand, has not read "A Feast for Crows." Others, such as Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, have read at least one book.
