"Game of Thrones" cast Emilia Clarke has shared her thoughts about the scene in season 6 that shocked fans. The British actress revealed what helped her get through the nude scene.

According to The Sun, the "Game of Thrones" cast admitted that she was able to get by with the help of a certain drink as well as a bit of technical help. Emilia Clarke portrays Daenerys Targaryen in the hit HBO series. "All I needed was vodka and some flattering lighting and I was ready," she said.

Emilia Clarke has previously signed a no-nudity clause. This is why her full-frontal nude scene in "GoT" season 6 came as a shock to fans.

The "Game of Thrones" cast explained, though, that the scene was not nudity just for the sake of it. Clarke described the scene, where the Mother of Dragons walked through a blazing furnace and emerged naked, as "empowering" for her character.

"It was just a wonderful, strong moment I wanted to own, a real empowering, girl-power wow scene," the 29-year-old "Terminator" star told the publication. "I was so thrilled with it."

"It's not a sexy scene, she's not naked for no reason, it's not gratuitous. She's naked because she's just destroyed her enemies in this almighty blaze after they underestimated her. She played her trump card - how could I say no?"

The Independent also noted that the context of Daenerys' nudity is actually empowering. It revealed her "utter indestructibility as a character."

Speaking to EW, the "Game of Thrones" cast deemed the moment as "tingly-making" and "spine-chilling." "She realizes that this is the missing piece," she added. "The Dothraki are the missing piece of her crew - she's seemingly indestructible having Dothraki on her side."

Emilia Clarke also reminded people that the last time that she went naked for "GoT" was in season 3. "This is all me, all proud, all strong. I'm just feeling genuinely happy I said 'Yes,'" the actress said.
