‘Sleepy Hollow’ Season 4 News, Update: Ichabod Crane Returns With A New Partner!

Ichabod Crane, Tom Mison, is back in of "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4.

The showrunners gave a shocking ending to one of its main characters Abbie Mills by killing her off in Season 3. Abbie Mills, played by Nicole Beharie, is one of the witness of the apocalypse.

Variety reported that Beharie has been wanting to exit the show for a very long time. The creators of the show is supposed to kill off her character by the midseason finale of Season 3, but they changed their minds.

They explained Beharie and Mison's on-screen chemistry is what made viewers stay to the show. The show had a rocky second season that caused some raised eye brow from some critics and fans.

Fox explained that the Abbie Mills' death was a bold move from the show but 'Sleepy Hollow' has been known for its shocking finales. They believe that they have given Mills' character a poignant conclusion.

They are very grateful for Nicole Beharie's performance as Abbie Mills. They believe that fans will not regret watching this latest season because they have a lot of exciting scenarios and new adventures to explore for the show.

Now, that Abbie Mills is gone Crane will have a new partner in the form of Diana played by Janina Gravankar in Season 4. Crane will also move from New York to Washington D.C.

Parent Herald reported that Crane and Diana will clash at first but in the long run she will find Diana to be as loyal to the mission like himself.

Crane will also develop a relationship with Molly which is Diana's 10-year old daughter. The identity of Molly's father will be on the dark for the most part of the series.

They explained that "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 will have new shocking revelations. It might be in finding the new second witness or character revelations. 

TV Line reported that the show will return on January 6, it will be aired on a new timeslot Fridays at 9/8 central.
