Capcom, in a short teaser, has just revealed that Akuma will be added to "Street Fighter V." The franchise's most popular character will be playable at the PlayStation Experience on December 3 and 4.

Game Informer reports that Capcom revealed the short teaser following the conclusion of the Red Bull Battleground "Street Fighter V" Tournament. The teaser was brief, showing only a storm-ravaged temple that's followed by several flashes of light, which appears during Akuma's signature move, the Shun Goku Satsu.

The flashes of light were followed by one of Street Fighter's iconic image, a paintbrushed Kanji on the back of Akuma. The symbol on Akuma's back, though, translates to "god" over the one for "man" instead of the usual "heaven."

This means that the Akuma that will appear in "Street Fighter V" is Shin Akuma, that character that appeared in Capcom Vs. SNK2. This detail hints as to one kind of abilities players can expect when this new character becomes available.

Though the release of Akuma as a new character  for "Street Fighter V" is exciting, it's not an easy task for developers to do. According to Redbull, Capcom usually takes a lot of consideration before they release a character in "Street Fighter V."

"Street Fighter V" Executive Produce Yoshinori Ono is always concerned about what their communities can do with the new character and figure out strategies to counter them. "When I watch and see something new I immediately ask, 'is this going to be okay?'" he said.

But what Ono learned is that the community has a way of counterbalancing the game themselves. But he also knows that there are times that developers must step in.

Capcom didn't provide a release date yet on when Akuma will be available. Players, though, who are interested in trying out Akuma in "Street Fighter V" will have a chance on December 3 and 4, during the PlayStation Experience in Anaheim, California.
