Following her enlistment as key co-star of Keanu Reeves in the upcoming film "John Wick: Chapter 2", Ruby Rose spared no energy and zeal in preparation for her big role. Since then, she has worked hard in building her character.
The actress behind the films "Around the Block", "Break Free" and "Sheep and Wolves," was recently put in the peripheral Hollywood limelight after her three consecutive acting stints. But her three current movie projects, including "John Wick: Chapter 2", seem like a launch pad for superstardom status.
An article published by Age In reveals the newest Instagram self-portrait of the androgynous high-profile assassin named Ares. She sports an elegant scar across the right side of her upper lip and cheek as a memento of her professional repertoire.
Apart from her additional tattoos, a great deal of labor is dedicated in keeping her physique in excellent shape. Apparently, she aims to minimize her reliance on stunt doubles for her big co-star role. Foods 4 Better Health reveals her intense workout schedule in a week, and the obvious results of her fruitful athletic toil.
Every Monday, Ruby Rose completes a full circuit of dumbbell lifting routines. Each entails 15 repetitions for 2-3 rounds. On Tuesdays, she attends a 45-minute kickboxing session. Wednesday for her is a day off.
Every Thursday, her program resumes lower body muscle training. On Fridays, she undergoes upper body muscle training. Saturdays are reserved for a return kickboxing session while on Sundays she commits herself to a 20-minute maximum jogging drill.
In a similar editorial published by Jobs & Hire, lead actor Keanu Reeves also subjects himself to almost the same level of physical rigor. Both are determined to let "John Wick: Chapter 2" hit the cinemas with a crippling one-two blockbuster punch.
