‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Update: Gen 2 Patch Will Arrive For Thanksgiving? Featuring Legendary Pokemon & Increased Spawn Rate

Simply, Niantic's not done yet luring its players back on the game with its latest massive bash, the company sets to release a "Pokemon Go" Thanksgiving Day Event spawning party soon. And, it will introduce increased spawn rate and item drops, hopefully, the GEN 2 patch as well.

Playing "Pokemon Go" had been a worldwide phenomenon, people around the world can be seen holding their phones happily catching a Pokemon or two. Yet, the game's allure faded for some time, so, Niantic Inc. revives the game with a number of upgrades released since the last months.

According to Council & Heal, "100 new Pokémon species along with 86 new moves" will be launched from the incoming "Pokemon Go" Gen 2 patch. Additionally, some Legendary Pokemon is also part of the release.

In a report by GamenGuide last 15th, Niantic will supposedly launch the latest patch on December, luckily! It was rescheduled, though, "Pokemon Go" Thanksgiving Day Event will only run for 7 days starting this weekend, November 24th. 

So! Get those Pokeballs ready for increased Pokemon spawning, in the same report, GamenGuide said,"Pokemon Go" Pokemon "Snorlax, Dragonite, Lapras, Exeggutor, Gyarados and even Arcanine" will be part of the event.

While Pokemon Go Pocket promises, increased rate for item drops as well, "Pokemon Go" stops will give lots of Great Balls, Ultra Balls, and others. Make sure to visit the nearest Pokestops many times a day to maximize the opportunity.

Though, Niantic is still mum regarding the Legendary Pokemon arrival, "Pokemon Go" is rumored to spawn in the future: Cyndaquil, Articuno, Moltres, Totodile Chikorita, Mew, Zapdos, and Mewtwo. These are also speculated to be in 3D versions.
