It has been eight months since Ubisoft Entertainment released the video game "Tom Clancy's The Division" worldwide via PC and console platforms. Fans eagerly anticipate when the downloadable content "Survival" hits retail stores. However, the recently leaked November 22 release date has set that excitement to overdrive and now everyone concerned wants to know why.
As of now, fans are still reeling from the shock of the cued (and potentially unintended) announcement. Many are still unable to fully acknowledge this popular hearsay given that the game has not yet reached its anniversary.
Fortunately, the report is confirmed by an article published by MS Power User. In it, one of the avid fans speculated the reason behind its early release date. Ubisoft is allegedly aiming to slate this project anytime before the peak Christmas season.
It pays to take note, however, that the early issuance of the "Survival" DLC is only available on PC and Xbox One platforms. The PlayStation version will have to wait another time.
Another theory for the early release date is also featured in an article published by the Ecumenical News. It is believed that the positive experience of select gamers experiencing the limited Public Test Server has certainly expedited the circulation date of "Survival" DLC.
In a related article featured by Jobs & Hire earlier this year, "Tom Clancy's The Division" also had its rough times dealing with cheaters in the multiplayer arena. Nonetheless, Ubisoft seems to conquer one milestone at a time with a much faster rate.
What made "Tom Clancy's The Divison" a popular game has a lot to do with its versatility. The developers somehow successfully broke the tradition of putting a dystopian backdrop into a strictly multiplayer mode without compromising its linear storyline. Set in modern-day Manhattan, players will have to complete several missions that will restore order in a metropolis plagued by an unknown virus.
