After the intense campaign and the conclusion of the 2016 US Presidential Election declaring the defeat of Hillary Clinton, the mystery of her reliable aide-de-camp for almost 20 years now, Huma Abedin, still remains even though the Democrat's campaign had been enthralled by numerous scandals.

Huma Abedin is the Vice Chairwoman of the campaign of the Democratic bet Hillary Clinton during the recently finished 2016 US Presidential Election. For year 2009 to 2013, she was the Deputy Chief of Staff of Clinton who, during that time, was the Secretary of State of the United States.

The 40-year-old political staff's husband is Anthony Weiner who is now subject to an investigation of the Federal Bureau of Investigation after he found to be sexting and sending several crotch shots with a 15-year-old girl. Abedin was said to separate from Weiner after the said incidents of sexting.

While Clinton's name had been in jeopardy after her emails were leaked, Abedin has not been joining Clinton since October 29 when the issue with her husband sexting reached the news. On Friday, in an interview with New York Post, Campaign Chairman John Podesta said that the staffer remains to play an important role and that no other staff is more devoted to Clinton than her.

He further added that Abedin remains as Clinton's closest consultants. Podesta also expressed his admiration for the staffer's grace and fortitude.

In 1976, Abedin was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan from Syed, an Indian, and Saleha, a Pakistani, both of whom are devoted as Muslims. After the family had moved in Saudi Arabia when she was 2, the story of her childhood and her adolescent years remained mysterious.

She majored in journalism with political science as her minor at the George Washington University. Her father Syed, who died in 1993, was a co-founder of the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs. Meanwhile, her mother occupied Syed's position as editor-in-chief and still holds the same up to this moment.

From the beginning of Hillary Clinton's campaign aspirations in 2015, Huma Abedin has always been a part of the Democrat's strategy in her political race. Actress and Clinton's long-time friend Mary Steenburgen said that both Clinton and Abedin work really well together. Mandy Grunwald, Clinton's adviser, also stated that he is not sure if the Democrat could walk herself out of the door without the loyal aide by her side.
